I am available to all of my clients outside normal business hours, which takes the stress out of having to go into a travel agency during work hours to receive a quotation, ask questions, or for any problems that may arise before or during your trip which you need urgent assistance with. I like to give my clients peace of mind while they are overseas that they can call or email my anytime day or night and I will action their enquiry and get back to them as soon as it is possible.  

If you would like to discuss your travel plans in person and meet me after hours or on the weekend I am happy to arrange this with you at a time and location that suits you best. I can bring along brochures and my laptop so that I can give you a current and accurate quote on the spot. When your booking is finalised and your travel documents are ready for your trip, I can either post them to you, or come to meet you so we can go over them together and discuss any last minute questions you may have about your booking or destination you will be traveling to.

Honeymoons & Wedding registries – I have many clients who are planning their honeymoon that come to see for suggestions and to put together an ideal itinerary. Wedding registries can be set up so that your wedding guests are able to contribute in advance for your planned honeymoon. Registry cards can be made to personalise your details and design needs. 

Gift Certificates - Gift Certificates are a great way to give the gift of a holdaiy without having to sort out the compelx details like chosing the right dates, knowing their passport details etc when booking. This way you can contribute any amount to a gift voucher and the recipient can redeem it towards any travel service they like.

Other favourite and memorable destinations

My favourite destinations would definitely be Rome and the surrounding cities in Italy. I love the history of the country, its art and the refreshing laid back way of life the Italian people live by.

Closer to home, Thailand and Cambodia have become 2 of my favourite countries to visit. After spending quite a lot of time in Thailand I have a great love of this country and leave there planning my next trip back. The food is to die for, shopping is cheap, the people are so friendly and the beaches are crystal clear… better still, cocktails on the beach can be found for only a few dollars!

I had the opportunity to spend 2 weeks in Africa during March 2010. This truly was an experience of a lifetime. Africa is breathtaking! Seeing the abundance of wildlife in their natural surroundings and taking in the amazing sunsets while cruising down the Chobezi River was an overwhelming feeling. I cannot wait to go back and see more of Africa.

Personally travel is something I couldn’t live without. Besides booking travel for my clients I find myself with an itch to travel and see new places constantly. Having travelled extensively and also having a great passion for the industry, I find myself very fortunate to be in a position where I am able to share my knowledge of destinations, cultures and general ‘how to get about’ information to my clients. 

In 2001 I obtained a Diploma in International Retail Travel Sales with High Distinction. I then went on to work as a travel consultant in my home town of Port Macquarie. Shortly after in 2003 I set off to the UK on a working holiday visa. After only a week in the cold and grey city of London I found myself on a flight to Florence where I ended up living and studying Italian full time. Once I had my Italian speaking skills down pat I moved to Rome and worked there for just over a year. Rome is one of the most fascinating and beautiful hostoric cities - I absolutely loved my time there.

Working in various jobs part time I also had the chance to travel around Europe and all over Italy. I vacated in destinations such as Cortina in the beautiful ski village of the Dolomites,  Sardinia, and the stunning Amalfi coast. I also travelled with friends to ancient Italian cities such as Luca, Pisa, Sienna, Urbania, Rimini, Le CinqueTerre, Milan, Verona, and Venice.

My travels then took me to Paris where I had longed to travel to since a little girl. I was so excited to experience the French culture and Parisian lifestyle. During my time living in Paris i was able to travel extensively throughout France, visiting all the well-known cities such as Lille, Lyon, Nice, Monaco, St Tropez, and Cannes.

After a year in Paris I tried something different – the Swiss German city of St Gallen which is a short train trip from Zurich in Switzerland. Personally I love the hot weather and now that I look back I am not quite sure what I was thinking moving to a city that snows half the year and where summer days are as warm as Sydney’s winter weather. I did get to travel around this cold but beautiful country, mostly by train which enabled me to see the most of the very scenic countryside. 

Finally heading back to Sydney I started working in 2006 for Sheraton on the Park hotel as Business Development Executive in their wholesale department. I developed many relationships with key contacts in the airline, retail travel, wholesale and tourism divisions of the industry.

Mid 2008 I decided to venture out and become a Personal TravelManager where I now have the opportunity to share my wealth of knowledge and experience with my clients looking to book their dream holiday. I like to be available for my clients at a time and place convenient to them and allow them the time they need to build an itinerary that really suits their needs and takes in everything they hoped to see and experience. I want my clients to feel that they are well prepared for their trip and can rest knowing that they can contact me at any time throughout the trip or beforehand if they have any questions or concerns. I find myself just as excitied as my clients before their departure as i am confident they will have the holiday they deserve.

    

Honeymoon bookings – Honeymoons are definitley the largest part of my business and one of my favourite types of holidays to book. I have booked honeymoons to all sorts of destinations in the world... some people want total luxury and relaxation at a destination like Bora Bora, while others still don't want to sit still and refer to explore Europe and have a few romantic nights in Paris and Rome. I can work with everyones budget and ideas of what would thir honeymoon special to them. I'm also fortunate to have travelled to many exotoc and unique honeymoon destinations myself so can make sure you make the right choice for your holiday to remember.

Asia – I have travelled extensively throughout Asia and continue to go back as I love this area for its relaxation & adventure, the culture, fantastic food and shopping! 

Europe – In particular Italy and France as I have lived and worked there. During my time there I travelled to many parts of Italy and know it very well. I speak fluent Italian and can recommend a lot of great places to see, dine and things to watch out for. 

USA – The United States has become such a popular destination for Australians, especailly the past 5 years since our Australian Dollar has become so strong. I have taken many trips right across the USA and travelled to many cities numerous times. I also have a lot of first hand knowlege on the Caribbean Island as well as the resort/honeymoon destinations of eastern Mexico. With our dollar on par with the USD, fantastic shopping, sightseeing and a wide variety of diverse cities to explore it's never been a better time to plan a trip around the United States of America!
