About Me:

I have been working in the retail travel industry for 19 years. My industry training has come from ‘hands on’ experience working as a travel consultant and I have furthered my knowledge through airline, wholesaler and company in-house and practical training over these many years.
Educational trips have given me opportunities to travel, experiencing Fiji, Bali (2), Hawaii, Malaysia, U.S.A, UK/Europe, Vietnam, New Zealand & Australia’s N.T.
Being part of these journey’s has also allowed me to experience things I probably would never have been able to, such as tandem surfing and abseiling in New Zealand, walking through Vietcong built tunnels in Vietnam, a helicopter flight through the Grand Canyon, witnessing an Elvis style Las Vegas wedding, Four wheel driving in Sedona, Arizona, seeing Amsterdam’s red light district and dressing in traditional Dutch costume (not at the same time!).
A flight over W.A’s Buccaneer Archpelaga, and visiting Cape Leveque was unforgettable, and enjoying local cuisine and wines, and of course seeing some beautiful scenery and meeting amazing people.
I have also attended conference’s in New Zealand, Malaysia, Sydney, Wollongong, Brisbane, Gold Coast & Coolum, and inspected numerous cruise ships.
Personal holidays have been taken within Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Cook Islands, Hawaii, U.S.A, Canada, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Nepal, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore & Bali.

In 1998 I completed an intense 12 month Traveland in-house Professional Development Course. This gave me the skills to successfully manage a Traveland store with 4 consultants.
All my working life has been in customer service. I know how I want to be treated as a customer and I ensure that my clients are treated in the same manner.
I love what I do, making holiday dreams become a reality, and I just cant imagine doing anything else!
